Summer is almost here. That means that the summer movie season is almost here too. Many people go to the movies in the summer to relax and to beat the heat of summer. There have always been great summer movies to watch with friends and family. Here is a list of 10 great summertime movies.

In addition, there is also a camping trip in the movie. I associate camping with summer. It made the list because I also watch this movie in the summer and I like Haley Mills' movies.

The basic plot of this movie is that Sophie and her boyfriend go to Italy and he gets busy with his job. Therefore, she occupies herself trying to reunite lost lovers because of a letter that she finds in a wall. Unexpectedly, she finds her true love in Italy. This is a great summer movie because it deals with both love and travel. Love and travel are summer pastimes. This movie made the list because I am a hopeless romantic. In addition, I want to go to Italy someday.

4. Ratatouille is a yummy animated film. This film was made in 2007. The plot of the film is a rat named Remy goes to Paris to become a chef. He also befriends a beginning chef named Linguine. This movie stars the voice talents of Brad Garret and Patton Oswalt. This is a perfect summer movie because animated movie come out i the summer. Also, this is a wonderful family film. I put this on the list because I love this film. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. this is one of my favorite films of all time.

5.Notting Hill takes place in England. This romantic comedy was made in 1999. It stars Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. This movie was made in 1999. It is about a bookstore owner who falls in love with the most famous actress in the world. Can two people fall in love with the world watching. This is a great summer movie because love and summer goes together as well as peanut butter and jelly. This movie made the list because I want to travel to England someday. I also love Hugh Grant movies.

6. Pollyanna is a sweet Disney film. This movie was made in 1960. It stars Haley Mills and Jane Wyman. this movie is about an orphan who goes live with her aunt in a small town. Pollyanna has a sunny disposition. Therefore, she is loved by everyone in town. This movie is a good summer movie because there is a fair scene in the film. Fairs and summer go together nicely.

7. Father of the Bride is a wonderful wedding film. This film was made in 1991. It stars Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, and Kimberly, Williams. This movie is about a wedding. It is also about a father who isn't ready for his daughter to get married. This movie is a great summer movie because many weddings take place in the summer. It made the list because I am a fan of Steve Martin.
