iTunes Error 1413

The first time someone has an issue with their iPod the first thing that they will try to do is to restore the iPod. However, this restoration process is not without its flaws. 5. Press enter; a window will appear which will read DllRegisterServer in c:/Program files/itunes/ipodupdaterext. Succeeded.'

6. Close the window

7. Open iTunes again and restore the ipod

This procedure will get the ipod to be restored but will not bring back the loss data. The only user friendly way to get the data back is by using some iPod recovery software.
