Come to find out, the i-Turtle was a little electronic Turtle that played music. It was something like an i-pod. I had researched it on line for about two hours before I figured out what it truly was. I thought the idea of a musical Turtle was kind of cute so I went ahead and went to Target and purchased the i-Turtle was $24 dollars. The price was just right for me and I thought that for $24 she would be getting alto.
The i-Turtle was cute and just an all around neat gadget. The i-Turtle has built in speakers and an import area for you to hook up your headphones to.
The i-Turtle also has built in lights that flash when it's playing music. The funky thing about the i-Turtle is that the foot taps whenever music is playing. Not only does it tap it's foot, it taps it's foot to the melody of the music. What a concept!!
Another thing that is so neat about the i-Turtle is the fact that it's mood is based upon the melody riffs, movements and blinking light patterns on it's shells.
My cousin says her favorite thing about the i-Turtle is the fact that it whines whenever she hasn't played it in a while. I guess it's the i-Turtles way of expressing it's hungry for music and or attention.
If you flick the tail of the i-Turtle, he will become upset which I have no idea what the point of this is.The i-Turtle comes with a plug cable and takes AAA batteries.
The only thing that my little cousin dislikes about the i-Turtle is that it runs down the batteries alto. Considering the fact that she uses it alto, she doesn't really enjoy the fact that she spends so much money on batteries a week.
Another thing she says she doesn't like about the i-Turtle is that when she plays it for too long of a period, it begins to static up. We have taken it back and exchanged it twice and she has been getting the same results.
Other than the few dislikes I listed the i-Turtle is a neat little gadget. It's a great little gift for teenagers and it's affordable and easy to use.
