The Bradley Open was a five-round swiss system tournament, featuring six different sections of play. The tournament was held from June 15-17, with a time control of 150 minutes for each player.
In the Under 2100 section, three players tied for first. Ilya Solonkovich of New York, Ian Harris of Connecticut and Philip Chodrow of Virginia each scored 4 points. Either Harris or Chodrow could have won the section outright by winning their final round matchup, but a draw in that game left them tied for first, and allowed Solonkovich to join them at the top of the standings.
The Under 1900 section was won by Frank Paciulli of New York, who scored 4.5 points. Christopher Potts of Connecticut finished second, with 4 points.
In Under 1700 action, first place went to David Bedoukian of Connecticut, with a score of 4.5 points. Three players tied for second with 4 points each: Peter Stokes, Michael Pascetta and Kavinayan Sivakumar.
Four people shared first place in the Under 1500 section. Rob Holloman of New York appeared to have the inside track on first after four rounds, having won every game to that point. However, in the final round he fell to George Kang of Connecticut, leaving both players with 4 points. Richard Chang of Connecticut and Glen Perry of New York also took a share of first place.
Finally, the Under 1200 section was won by Robert Norris of Massachusetts, who scored a perfect 5 points. Second place was shared by Anthony Panat and Joseph Vigue, each with 4 points.
In total, 156 players participated in the 2007 Bradley Open. Bill Goichberg was the tournament director.
