I've Just Been So Worried "I don't remember closing my eyes last night. I think I tossed and turned all night long." he said.
What's up?
"I've just been so worried."
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
He went on to share that he was facing the giants. (My words, not his)
He had a meeting with a former employer, and he needed to ask forgiveness. He was sure the former employer would not be receptive.
"I hate controversy", he continued.
I assured him he was doing the right thing. I also reminded him how difficult it is to step out in faith.
Many times in my own life when I've been tempted to ignore a problem, and just go on as if it never existed, it continues to haunt me. I needed to trust the Lord.
Before the Israelites could cross over Jordan on dry land, the priests first had to put their feet into the water. The waters were at flood stage. Without faith, I'm sure they felt their demise was eminent.
Joshua 3:13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.
So many times, we too have to stick our feet in the water, knowing the Lord will be there to part the waters.

Very good article! I tend to worry a lot to but i try to ask God for help and to keep me on the right path :)
I tend to worry a lot, but then I pray. It always helps.
Wise words..Worrying does not help...I love the Serenity Prayer....God, give me the courage to change the things I can, the ability to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference...Why is your article in"bold"?
Thanks, for such an inspirational article.
Thanks for reminding us of this
Good thoughts.
Worry is such a commonplace in my life. When I realize what I'm doing I always take a minute and tell myself to give it to God. A quick prayer later I'm usually feeling a lot better. Thank you for the article. A great reminder!
Inspiring
More great inspirational words. :)
