Ivory Body Wash with Aloe Product Review

Jennifer Burss
In an effort to keep my skin comfortable during the rough winter months, I recently made a trip to my local store to find a moisturizing body wash. Many body washes tend have too many moisturizers for my skin. They tend to make my skin too slippery for me to be assisted by my husband or a health care aide after my shower and the excess moisturizer can be irritating in the long run. I recently discovered a product made by Ivory containing aloe.

Ivory soap has been around for years and now has several different items in liquid form. One of their products I recently found in twin pack for around six dollars, is their body was with aloe. This product, which even came with a free puff sponge, is very gentle on the skin and with the use of the puff sponge; a little goes a long way. My skin comes out of the shower clean and moisturized very well without being over done. This body wash could more than likely double or maybe even triple in use as a shampoo or face wash.

Each bottle contains 24 fluid ounces of the body wash. The body wash produces a lot of lather and has a light pleasant scent. It rinses easily and you don't have to spend too long in the shower which helps combat dry winter skin. The product, unlike many body washes lasts longer because you don't need to use a lot per use.

We having been using this product for several weeks in my home and have found it to be well worth the money. The twin pack makes the per bottle price around three dollars each, which isn't bad. Especially considering that this wash doesn't bother the skin with too many moisturizers. This also means it doesn't wind up unused and wasted for being bothersome. I tend to use less lotion since buying this product which makes my morning routine go much quicker.

I would definitely place this product among a list of products to buy for winter time skin care. Ivory Body Wash with Aloe is a great value in any quantity as it is an extremely versatile and gentle on the skin. It is ideal for those with sensitive skin and it doesn't take a lot to completely bathe an adult. Pick this product up if you want something that cleans but doesn't over dry, is gentle on the skin, and goes a long way.

I do not stay in US ,but had stayed there 2 years ago and used this Ivory body wash. It was great and I could not find it in my country. I am having dry skin now after using another product. I finally found out that it is due to the sodium laurel sulphate in the ingredients. May I know if Ivory body wash has this sodium laurel sulphate in the ingredient label ? Thanks a million.

This sounds like a decent body wash. Slippery skin doesn't necessarily mean it's been moisturised!
