"Jackass" Star, Ryan Dunn, Recently on "Minute to Win It" and "Proving Ground," Dies in a Fiery Car Crash in Pennsylvania

On June 6, 2011, Jackass" stars, Ryan Dunn and Steve-O, were on "Minute to Win It" hosted by Guy Fieri. June 20, 2011, Ryan Dunn is pronounced dead after a fiery car crash in a suburb in Pennsylvania.

Going back to the "Minute to Win It" "Jackass in the Circle" episode for a moment, Dunn and Steve-O, the duo were playing the game for charity. Their charity of choice was National Down Syndrome Congress, Steve-O's charity and has a nephew with Down Syndrome, and Team Mates for Kids started by Garth Brooks, Dunn's charity.

Fans of "Jackass" are saddened by the news of his death as his name trends on Twitter. Some fans feel this news my be yet another hoax death trending. Unfortunately the news is true and not a hoax. Dunn and a friend both died from the crash.

Some fans on Twitter are speculating the fiery death of the two was caused by drinking and driving. Although on the we the gamerz.com stated he had been out drinking "hours before the crash," alchohol had not been attributed to the cause of the accident.

However, at the time of the initial press release stated above, drinking and driving was not mentioned. Police do believe speed played a roll in the crash but have not told that either instance is what lead to the accident. Either way, the loss of two lives in a horrible accident as this is heart wrenching for family and friends.

Even the police report found on Metro.us on Brian Hickey's report of the accident confirms the news report CBS Philly wire. The identity of the passenger in the car has not been released due to pending family notification of their death.

It is not known at this time who will replace Dunn on G4, TV called "Proving Ground" he co-hosted with Jessica Chobott. "Proving Ground" first aired on June 14, 2011.
