Jackie Warner is a famous celebrity trainer who found her own fame with the Bravo TV reality show Work Out. The 42-year-old trainer has found her niche in the fitness and television world as Bravo's very own fitness expert. She is now out with a new show similar to Jillian Michael's new show that helps clients lose weight. Jackie Warner's show will be n Bravo and is title Thintervention with Jackie Warner. In the new series, she will advise eight clients on how to lose weight.

The fitness guru recently shared some of her fitness and weight loss tips prior to the premier of her new show. Jackie shared information about how to start a new diet, how to stick to the diet for long term weight loss, and how to lose weight successfully.

Jackie Warner also shared the face that one of the biggest mistakes people trying to lose weight make is setting an impossible goal for their weight loss program. She says, "The biggest mistake people make when starting a diet is aiming too high. They watch shows like The Biggest Looser and they want to lose like 30 pounds in a month. It doesn't work that way," she says. " It's safe to lose 1 or 2 pounds in a week, really, for long term effect. You need to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that's why I designed that program."

Most people see deprivation as the quickest weight loss solution, Jackie Warner says. But unfortunately deprivation is not healthy and is in no way a successful long term solution for weight loss. As Jackie says, "Deprivation does not work for us so we have to do enjoy the foods that we really do enjoy on the weekends."

Jackie Warner gives some advice to people starting out a new diet for weight loss.

1) Drink lots of water.
2) Avoid sugar and artificial sweeteners. If you really want to use artifical sweeteners, include those in moderation.

She also gives some advice on including carbs into your diet. "You have to have some carbs for the muscles. You can't build lean muscles without carbohydrates, but it's the right kind of carbs, like brown rice, good starches," says Jackie.

Additionally Jackie says alcohol should also be consumed in moderation. "You can have alcohol in moderation. It's ok to have alcohol once or twice a week, one or two drinks. A little bit of alcohol is fine," she advises.

For those people just starting out, Jackie says doing squats and pushups are the best way to start exercising. "Intense deep squads and push ups are the best two exercises. You got to intensity for it to work," she explains.
