Jackkqueline Pogue Shoves an 84-year-old Betty Sugiyama Off of Little Tokyo Metro (Gold Line) Platform

Jackkqueline Pogue May Be Too Mentally Ill for Murder Charges

Donald Pennington
Sometimes, there is just no point in trying to understand some people. Law enforcement has confirmed a story of 84-year-old Betty Sugiyama falling to her death off of Little Tokyo Metro (Gold Line) platform, after being shoved by one Jackkqueline Pogue, 44. Authorities reported the event earlier today, November 15, 2010. Yes. It is Ms Pogue who spells her first name in such a ridiculous fashion. That is no typo. Betty Sugiyama was out for a day of shopping with her sister, when a woman suddenly sprung up, yelled, and with both arms shoved poor Ms Sugiyama off of the platform, and onto the tracks below. The only merciful point about this attack, was the train never hit the poor woman's body.

Pointless attack on the Little Tokyo Metro platform today.
The LA Times Blog reports that witnesses state Ms Pogue's assault on Ms Sugiyama was unprovoked. Her reasons for what is being charged as murder, are not given. More will simply need to be revealed at the trial or elocution. LAPD took Ms Pogue into custody shortly after her pointless act of stupidity. More recent information is coming out in this update that our friend Jackkqueline may be suffering from a mental disturbance of some sort. So, as a society, will we be lenient on her? Will Ms Pogue ever be released from her accountability for her actions?

Let's hope the murder on the Little Tokyo Metro platform makes us all think.
What a shame that a woman died today, and for no apparent reason. It's not that death is such an uncommon event for us all. It's just a shame this one death was so needless, and avoidable. Betty Sugiyama could have had a whole universe of knowledge to still offer the world. Now, thanks to Jackkqueline Pogue, her time is cut off from the rest of us. Even 84-years-old was too young for Jackkqueline Pogue to have murdered Betty Sugiyama.

You might have to start the search anew. Use "Jackkqueline Pogue."

I couldn't find any pics, Vance. Sorry.

Wish I could see a picture of the attacker. I've been living up the block (and owned a shop below the apartment) from this crime and don't recognize the victim... Worst that's happened to me here is a frustrated crackhead trying to mug me, but that is an isolated incident.

I heard the news as a friend and I were leaving LT for a couple of hours. On the way back I saw a covered body. Crazy world.

Anyone has to be a little crazy to murder, so I don't get the whole insanity defense.

Crazy! I guess it was brought about as a frustration with the way her name was spelled!
