Jailbreak All IPhone, IPad, and IPod Touch Models with JailbreakMe 2.0!

Universal Jailbreak Compatible with All IDevices!

Don Peysum
Do you have an iPhone or an iPod touch that you've been wanting to jailbreak but are worried it's too complicated or fear you'll perform the process incorrectly and ruin your device? Fear not, Comex's new jailbreak method, JailbreakMe 2.0, will jailbreak all iDevices (iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches) on Apple firmware 4.0.1 and below in just a few very simple steps and requires absolutely no technical knowledge. This method doesn't require your iDevice to be connected to a PC or Mac and will even work on the newly released iPhone 4!

How it's done

To jailbreak your device, simply open Mobile Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and and type "Jailbreakme.com" into the address bar. This will take you to the mobile version of the JailbreakMe website. Congratulations, you've just completed the most difficult step in the process. Once on the JailbreakMe page, all you have to do is slide the "slide to jailbreak" bar to the right and JailbreakMe will automatically Jailbreak your device. A progress screen should pop up informing you that the web application is downloading. Shortly after, the screen should say "Jailbreaking..." When the process is complete, you'll see the following message: "Cydia has been added to the home screen. Have fun!"

That's it. You're done. You should now have the Cydia app on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad's home screen. Open this app to browse all kinds of Jailbreak apps and tweaks. If you encountered any problems while performing this jailbreak or the JailbreakMe page wouldn't load, simply restart your device and try again in a few minutes.

Is this legal?

Yes! Thanks to a new DMCA exemption which was recently approved, jailbreaking your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or any other mobile device is perfectly legal! However, please be aware that Apple will still continue to release firmwares designed to prevent jailbreaking your device. Also, modifying your iDevice will still void any Apple warranty, although you can restore with itunes in order to undo any software modification.

Jailbreaking has never been easier so why not give it a try on your iDevice today and unlock its full potential? Once you do, you may want to check out the top 5 apps for jailbroken iPhones

Yeah, every iPhone that isn't up to date.

From everything that I have read so far, I don’t see any real reason to Jailbreak. Everyone is trying to convince me of all these cool things that I can do with my iPhone following a Jailbreak that I can already do without the Jailbreak. This whole debate brings me back to the Linux days. Everyone was trying to convince me to stop using Windows and switch to Linux because of all of these things that Linux could do, that took days to try to figure out, that windows already did with a simple installer.

Lol….I think people tend to get way too wrapped up trying to stick it to someone to see the obvious. Great article though!

Read carefully and look at the date this was published. I said all devices on firmware 4.0.1 and below. 4.0.2 has been released since.
