Jaimee Grubbs: Another Tiger Woods Mistress or Fame-Seeking Opportunist?

Jaimee Grubbs is Doing What Rachel Uchitel is Not -- Admitting to an Affair with Tiger Woods

Jaimee Grubbs, a former Los Angeles cocktail waitress, has stepped forward to claim what Rachel Uchitel would not, that she has been having an affair with golfing legend Tiger Woods. TMZ reported that Us Weekly has the scoop on a reality show extra, Jaimee Grubbs, who claims that she not only knew Tiger Woods but had a long-running affair with Tiger Woods that began last year. While New York socialite Rachel Uchitel has been attempting to distance herself from the allegations of an affair being pushed by the National Enquirer, Jaimee Grubbs apparently seems to be willing to embrace the notoriety of being Tiger Woods' mistress. Jaimee Grubbs told Us Weekly that she had text messages, photos, and a voicemail to back up her claims, the most scurrilous of which is that she had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger Woods.

Jaimee Grubbs says she was 21 when she first hooked up with Tiger Woods. Us Weekly provides the lowdown Wednesday when the magazine's latest edition hits the newsstands. In the startling expose, Grubbs, whose only claim to fame previous to now has been a stint on VH1's reality series "Tool Academy" as the girlfriend of contestant Shawn "Loud Mouth Tood" Southern, claims she has a voicemail from Tiger Woods saying he believes his wife, Elin Nordegren, was aware of their affair.

The Us Weekly article, according to TMZ, also reveals that Jaimee Grubbs is supposedly in possession of at least 300 text messages from Tiger Woods. And that isn't all -- there are photos as well. How incriminating or compromising those photos are remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, everyone else in the unfolding Tiger Woods affairs melodramas seems to be keeping quiet counsel. Rachel Uchitel, who met with celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred over the weekend to discuss legal strategies regarding how to deal with the National Enquirer's articles that she was having an affair with Tiger Woods (which she has vehemently denied), has gone silent. Tiger Woods issued a brief statement on his website about the car accident he was involved in Friday morning (the cause of which has been tangentially connected to alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel), but did not directly address the tabloid allegations. In part, after declaring that the accident was his fault, Woods wrote: "Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible." However, Woods and his wife have not been seen for the last couple days, even turning away Florida law enforcement officials who have tried to do follow-up interviews regarding the car accident.

The accident, which occurred in the gated Windermere community where Tiger Woods lives, has been the source of much speculation as well. TMZ reported that a source said Tiger Woods and his wife both admitted to arguing before the crash, and another source told TMZ that they were arguing over Woods' alleged affair. The source also said that Woods said his wife chased him down the driveway with a golf club and smashed in the window of his SUV, which distracted him, causing him to hit a fire hydrant and a tree.

But since everyone in the Woods household has refused to talk or issue a public statement, it is unknown what the couple argued about -- or even if they actually were arguing in the first place.

But could Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, his wife of five years, have been arguing about both the affairs? Many have assumed that, if the two were indeed in a heated argument over infidelity, that it was basically over Rachel Uchitel, who the National Enquirer alleged was not only in Melbourne, Australia during the Australian Masters in mid-November, but that she had also lied about not being in the same hotel as Tiger Woods. Circumstantial the evidence might be, but if Elin Nordegren's suspicions had been aroused (and she had been suspicious of Tiger Woods having a previous affair, such as the one alleged by Jaimee Grubbs), the wife may have been confronting the famous golfer over not one, but two affairs, becoming so enraged that she bashed out his SUV window with a golf club.

Since the news of Jamiee Grubbs allegations have just surfaced, Tiger Woods has had relatively little time to respond -- if he should choose to do so. Given that Jaimee Grubbs is a one of a growing number of reality show personalities, it could be that her coming forward might be some sort of well thought out publicity stunt, something to further her career via the notoriety of having been Tiger Woods' mistress. With Us Weekly running her story, there is no doubt some bit of credibility to the 24-year-old's claims -- or at least some plausibility that she had an affair with Tiger Woods.

If Jaimee Grubbs story has some weight to it, it is doubtful Tiger Woods will wait too long before advancing something plausible himself (or through an attorney) -- perhaps more in the vein of deniability.

jaimee grubbs has shown herself to be a low class, nasty gold digger ho. Tiger will be just fine, but grubbs will always be a nasty looking pig that was looking for her 15 minutes.

yeah, Everyone believes the National Enquirer, there are gold diggers and stupid people everywhere! Leave Tiger and his family alone, they did not hurt anybody and seem to be a happy little family. If he weren't rich, would he still have mistresses coming out of the woodwork?
