Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon Breaking Up?

Did Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon break up? The two reportedly split up according to a story that PEOPLE broke over the weekend. Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have since denied the split through their representatives.

Could another celebrity break-up be in the cards? Hollywood relationships don't seem to last long because of the demanding hours and the availability of other very attractive people. Most people probably thought the Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon relationship would never end since they seem like two Hollywood people who have their heads screwed on straight. Unfortunately, Hollywood relationships more often than not end in break-ups.

Hopefully that won't be the case for this great looking couple who seem to have more than clicked after they worked on the movie Rendition together back in 2007. The two are considered by many to be an A-List couple considering their credentials for acting.

Reese Witherspoon was previously married to Ryan Philippe whom she had children with. Her break-up with Ryan Philippe made huge news as any Hollywood relationship story does. Jake Gyllenhaal is 5 years younger than Reese and perhaps someday he will want his freedom and the things that come with a Hollywood lifestyle and not married life. Only time will tell if the Jake Gyllehaal Reese Witherspoon break up story has any credibility. If Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have split, it won't take long to figure it out for paparazzi and media searching for hints.
