Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi Face Off on the Bachelorette

Grab a bowl of popcorn and be ready for a rumble on Monday night's edition of The Bachelorette 2010 with Ali Fedotowsky. But fugghedabout Blondie and the Man Pack for a sec; this time it's all about remnants of the reality matchmmaking franchise's Spring season. According to reports from E Online and several other outlets, recently splitsville Bachelor couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi sat down for a little two-on-one time with host Chris Harrison to set the record straight regarding their break-up. The interview is set to air during this week's Bachelorette festivities. And it's sure to get interesting. And very, very ugly.

Jake and Vienna, who danced a (pass the Cheez Whiz, please) 'Viennese' Waltz during the recent Dancing with the Stars season finale to the tune of (do they make the Whiz in swiss?) On the Wings of Love, confirmed they'd split via Pavelka's rep on June 21st. What followed almost immediately was a deluge of accusations volleyed from one side to the other. Who instigated and was initially responsible for the big break-up was a point of contention for both Jake and Vienna, but the fur definitely flew in mass quantity.

According to E Online, Monday night's Bachelorette showdown is busting at the seams with drama and emotion. Vienna calls Jake "a fame whore" who refused to plan a wedding while Jake asserts that Vienna cheated and was unsupportive. Apparently an emotionally overrought Girardi storms out in tears.

Blah, blah, blah.

Yeah, whatever. It seems, from my admittedly limited vantage point, that Jake and Vienna are still made for each other. Vienna is nothing more than a hypocrite for calling Jake a "fame whore". I mean come on, who is she kidding? She went on national television in search of lifelong love and personal fulfillment. Who does that? Ding, ding, ding! A fame whore! It's not as if Vienna were 50 years old, still single and in danger of never ever finding her prince charming; she's 24 and (according to some people's standards, I guess; I don't see it) attractive. The only reason to appear on a show like The Bachelor is to gain notoriety.

And Jake? Yeah, he's no pitiable angel, either. If all of Vienna accusations hold water - that he wouldn't touch her, refused to make wedding plans - then he's a douchebag. Oh, and yeah, probably a fame whore, too. Cite the argument above: He DID choose to go on TV to find real love. But at least he's not throwing that particular insult at his ex. No pot-calling-kettle-black here. In his defense, he WAS quoted in E Online on March 1st saying that he still wasn't in a hurry to tie the knot, even after choosing Vienna. Guess she missed that line.

Whatever your feelings on Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, tune into The Bachelorette Monday night for some funky drama stuffs. It'll probably make you feel better about your own tumultuous relationships of the past: After all, at least you and your ex didn't provide entertainment for millions.

Jake is definitely a good person and it is unfortunate for him to be in this situation. So yeah, Jake may have gotten a little carried away with the fame; but people need to realize that this is only natural human behavior. He can't be perfect.

First off, take note how old Vienna is. She's 24, and that's at the age of immaturity and childish actions. Vienna thinks that relationships have to do with attention, kissing, and sex...Typical childish thinking...
During the interview, Vienna couldn't keep her mouth shut and let Jake give his side of the story. I don't blame Jake for raising his voice to her, for I would have done the same if I kept constantly getting interrupted. This was an interview for both of them, not only Vienna. Even Chris needed to stop her from interrupting. That shows her selfish side. Another thing that was selfish was the fact that she SOLD their break-up information to the media. Her excuse to that? "Jake would have done the same." Bull crap, it is obvious that

Jake is a jerk...Vienna is no rocket scientist, but you can see right through Jake the Flake.

WOW I just watched interview with jake and Vienna. Jake is a control freak and a abuser. You could tell he was lying through his pearly whites. What a jerk

Jake is gross. It's pretty clear he had every intention of dumping Vienna all along, figuring that he could make himself out to be some injured party against the sexy, cheating blonde vixen. Vienna is what she is; Jake, on the other hand, is a sneaky, lying, slimy jerk.

Pamela, they'd make a great pair! Victoria, I actually only started watching The Bachelor/Bachelorette this year, so I don't have experience with prior seasons. (Exception: The Andy Baldwin season. DH and I watched most of that one as well.) In general, yep, all fame seekers.

I'll be sticking my two cents in come Monday night. Now Vienna and Justin should hook up.

It's all about the notoriety, you're right. Hey, I like drama...I might just tune in:)

I never thought for a second that it would last - I mean, c'mon, only one or two actually did. Didn't they? Oh, nevermind, who cares! cheers :) (...the saddest part? I'll probably watch it!)
