Directions for Jalapeno Beef Wraps

1
Prepare (5 minutes)
This recipe calls for cubed beef, also known as beef stew meat. You can also use steak that is on sale and cut it up yourself. Also, if you have any left over steak from the night before, it can also be used. On a separate tray, slice bell peppers from top to bottom for longer pieces.
2
Cook (7 minutes)
Add cooking oil to a medium sized skillet and set on medium heat. Add beef and brown until fully cooked. Reduce temperature to low and cover.
3
More Preperation (3 minutes)
Blend jalapenos and tomato paste together in an "Oscar" or similar food mincer until you get a fine puree. Add puree mix to beef.
4
More Cooking (10 minutes)
After adding mix to beef, cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
5
Serve
Serve on whole wheat tortillas and enjoy. You will definitely need a large glass of water to cool your mouth off.
Tip
Serves 4The number of jalapeno peppers can be reduced or increased depending on your own personal preference. Water can be used instead of cooking oil; however, the beef does not get as beautiful brown as it would with cooking oil.You can omit bell peppers and add onions or any other pepper or vegetable of your choice.CAUTION: This recipe is mean and is in no way suitable for small children and those sensitive to spicy foods.
