Then you are provided the link to download the program. Once you install the program, you will have to sign into the program with the username and password you chose when you signed up. You then create your albums and publish them. You are allowed a storage size of 30 megabytes on the Jalbum site.
Jalbum Editing Tools
Jalbum has nice selection of options when it comes to editing photos in the program. You can click a photo and then click the Edit button. The Edit panel will open and you will have many options for editing your photo. Some of the options include rotating photos, cropping photos, removing red eye, applying a black and white effect, applying a sepia tone effect, and flipping photos.
Jalbum Skins
When you install the program, you will receive six skins. The skins determine the look of the photo album. On the side of Jalbum, you will see the Skins drop down box. Drop that box down and place your mouse over the skins to see previews of them in the top part of your program. To select one, click it. You can also add more skins to your program by clicking, "Get More Skins".
Jalbum Styles
The styles will change the color scheme of your photo album. The number of styles available will depend on the Skin you choose. One skin only has a couple of styles and other skins have more styles. So, you will need to select your skin and then select your style. The style can be selected by dropping the Style box down. Placing your mouse over the styles will show you a preview of the styles in the top part of your program.
Jalbum Publishing
Publishing the albums is easy. On the program, you will see the Publish button. Clicking that button will start the publishing process. You will be asked a couple of questions, then your album will be uploaded. You can preview your album before publishing it by clicking the Preview button. Your album will be loaded in a browser and from there you can see what it will look like once it is uploaded.
Jalbum Overall
Overall, Jalbum is a pretty good program. It is easy to use and has a lot of skins and styles to choose from. Editing photos is easy with the built on editor. The only downside to the program is it loads slowly. Installation takes forever and opening the program takes a couple of minutes. Publishing the albums take a while if you are publishing a large album.
