Ingredients

Serves 4
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp dijon mustard
4 tbsp coconut oil (extra virgin olive oil or palm oil may be substituted)
1 tbsp mushroom soy sauce or low sodium soy sauce
4tbsp finely chopped sweet green bell pepper
2 tsp finely chopped scotch bonnet pepper (no seeds)
2tbsp minced garlic
2 ttbsp finely chopped green scallions
1 tbsp lump or claw crabmeat (lump crabmeat preferred)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cream sherry
8 tbsp salt
3 tbsp shredded coconut and minced mango or papaya
2 tbsp 8 tablespoons
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cream sherry

Directions for Jamaican Deviled Crab Royale

Optional serving suggestions
Combine mayonnaise, curry powder, black pepper, scotch bonnet sauce, dijon mustard, coconut oil, rum, soy sauce, red pepper, green pepper, garlic, scallion, scotch bonnet pepper, and scallions.

Slowly and gently fold in the crabmeat.

Melt butter in small pan and add 2 tablespoons of cream sherry and the bread crumbs and gently stir.

Spoon crab mixture into 4 ramekins or small baking bowls.

Top with bread crumb mixture

Broil on low until bread crumbs are golden brown and crab meat is warm

Remove from broiler. Garnish with coconut and minced mango or papaya.
