Washington C.H. - On Saturday September 19 the music and variety group, "The Brothers & Co. Entertainers" will headline the entertainment at the Fayette County Scarecrow Festival in Washington Court House, Ohio. The Jamestown-based performers will take the stage from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Fayette County Fairground.

Originally held on the streets of downtown Washington Court House the Scarecrow Festival kicks off on Friday evening September 18 at the Fayette County Fairground. Originally held on the downtown streets, the event features vendors, entertainment, a car show, and contests.

The Brothers & Co. Entertainers started out in 1995 as a family bluegrass and country band. Over the years, the group has evolved into a full variety show experience.

Performing a variety of music from country to oldies, the formal western costuming of the group is a tribute to their family and musical heritage. Their repertoire includes songs by The Statler Brothers, John Denver, the Everly Brothers and many original pieces.

"The Boys in Black," as they are often called, are a favorite on stages all around the Midwest including The Paint Valley Jamboree in Bainbridge, Ohio. They are also featured each holiday season during the famous Schuster Performing Arts Center's Wintergarden Wonderland in Dayton, Ohio.

In addition to rich, four-part harmonies, The Brothers & Co. Entertainers' family-oriented show includes interactive variety and comedy routines, award-winning classic magic by bass singer Jim Karns, of Fairborn, and the whip artistry of America's Got Talent veteran and pianist Gery L. Deer of Jamestown. Guitarist and song writer Ed Jones and lead singer and drummer Gary Deer, Jr. complete the quartet's unique sound.

"Our show is unique and has something for all ages and tastes," said The Brothers & Co. Entertainers writer, performer Gery L. Deer. "We have put a modern spin on an old style of entertainment."

The band's popularity and unusual adventures aboard their tour bus nicknamed, "Noah's Ark," have spawned a series of stories called "The Adventures of The Brothers & Co." which are available to read free online at www.thebrothersandcompany.com.
