The first single off of Intuition is The-Dream written and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart produced Just Like Me. The track features multiplatinum rapper T.I. The song is a fairly solid R&B first single. The track though is catchy enough to be successful and T.I. delivers a strong verse.
She Got Her Own featuring Ne-Yo and Fabolous was originally featured on Ne-Yo's Grammy Award nominated album The Year Of The Gentleman. The StarGate produced track works well and is at home on Jamie's album as his verse is one of the highlights of the track.
Just Blaze produces the Lil Wayne assisted Number One (Let's Get Dumb). The track is not what you expect from Jamie as an artist. The track is leaning heavily urban and hip hop as opposed to R&B. The production on the track is completely unique and Lil Wayne delivers a very strong verse which adds to the track.
Kanye West and The-Dream team with Jamie Foxx on Digital Girl. The song features a verse from Kanye West which is only partly Autotuned which is rare. The song is nothing special with the strong point being Jamie Foxx's vocal delivery.
Blame It (On The Alcohol) features T-Pain. The song is a solid up-tempo track that will surely be a radio hit single. The song features a strong beat and solid verse from T-Pain.
Why is a fairly standard non-offensive R&B mid-tempo track. The song is nothing too remarkable however it is better than the standard filler found on most albums.
I Don't Need It is a creation between Timbaland and Jim Beanz. The track sounds as if Jamie is trying to channel his inner Justin Timberlake and does not really work.
I Don't Know is a catchy mid-tempo track that features a strong melody and chorus. The production also highlights Jamie's vocal ability.
Overdose is a solid ballad. The highlight of the track is definitely the simplistic chorus which is highly memorable.
Freak'in Me features Marsha Ambrosius from the R&B group Floetry. The song is another solid R&B mid-tempo track that is not truly memorable.
The album closes with Love Brings Change. The song seems like a follow-up of his under the radar hit song Heaven. The song is probably where Jamie is at his strongest on the whole album.
Intuition features a who's who of all the major producers, writers and artists in urban music. However the album is strong at its smallest and most intimate moments. Overall Intuition gets 7.5 out of 10. If you are a fan of the multitalented Jamie Foxx make sure you pick up Intuition when it is available in stores on December 16th.
