Jamie Lynn's Pregnant but Attentions Still on Britney and Her Mother

On Dec. 18, many came across the sort of surprising news that Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16 year old younger sister of Britney Spears was 12 weeks pregnant with her 19 year old boyfriends child. After waking up the following day, I was not at all surprised to see that the story has gain fire and is in the top section of most news sections, even those that are usually supposed to talk about serious news such as the Iraq war.

However, I was a bit stunned to realize that the news seemed more focused on Britney, the older sister who is scalp deep in her own mess of a life. Even in these unfortunate 15 minutes, Jamie Lynn still gets only about a second to herself before the media decided to turn the cameras back to Britney.

How did they decide to fit Britney Spears into the story disregarding the fact that is her younger sister that is pregnant?

Well more recent news on the younger Spears' pregnancy story has revealed that Britney Spears found out when the mere mortals were alerted to the news online. It seems that Jamie Lynn did not feel the need to break it to her big sis. More news with accompanying pictures, showed Britney, reportedly right after finding out, going to a store that was specially opened late just for the Pop star to do some shopping.

Media reports have said that Jamie Lynn's rep's have been trying to do all that they can to keep Jamie Lynn and Britney seperate from each other so that Britney's news will not drag down the career of younger sis. To late for that now, I guess.

More news came out involving Lynne Spears, mother to both Britney and Jamie Lynn. This time it turns out that Mrs. Spears' book about parenting and "raising" of her two famous daughters will have to be pushed back until I'm guessing bigger news or short attention spans, allow for a less controversial release date. IE. When people forget that one daughter is a hot mess and the other is underage and pregnant. Exactly what parenting tips was Mrs. Spear planning to give?
