Susan Boyle & Shaheen Jafargholi: Watch Out for Jamie Pugh & Callum Francis!

We already have vocal powerhouses Susan Boyle and Shaheen Jafargholi in the competition for Britain's Got Talent 2009, and after the latest episode (BGT s3e4) we have two more talented singers in the mix: Jamie Pugh and Callum Francis. In this fourth auditions episode of Britain's Got Talent, these two stand outs are videos you will not want to miss!

Jamie Pugh (pronounced "Pooh") was clearly out of his mind with fear when he appeared on stage. Just before his performance, Jamie Pugh said in his interview, "My biggest fear is I'll get on stage and just freeze." Lucky for us, he did not. Stiff and wide-eyed, Jamie Pugh answered the judge's initial questions looking as though he were ready to bolt at the first chance.

Jamie Pugh, like Susan Boyle, chose a song from Les Miserables to sing as his audition for Britain's Got Talent 2009. While his performance of "Bring Him Home" was very good, I must say it was nowhere near as good as Susan Boyle's performance of "I Dreamed a Dream." Judge Simon Cowell advised, "You actually have to start believing in yourself a bit, Jamie," and I think audience members agree - this man clearly has talent and Jamie Pugh could be a serious contender if he can get his confidence up. Go, Jamie Pugh!

We have another absolutely adorable 12 year old boy singer, Callum Francis, in this episode of Britain's Got Talent 2009 - so watch out, Shaheen Jafargholi! This wide-eyed schoolboy from Hartfordshire decided to perform a song from the musical, Oliver Twist. Honestly, Callum Francis is so cute he could've gotten away with ANY song and won the audience, but lucky for us he's also got talent and charmed the judges and audience alike.

I have to agree with Simon Cowell that the act Callum Francis decided to perform is one that is completely overdone in talent shows, so it would have been nice to see something more unique. I'm still looking forward to more from this bright eyed young man, whom judge Piers Morgan told, "I think you've got probably the cheekiest grin we've ever had on Britain's Got Talent." We are all looking forward to seeing Callum Francis's cheeky grin again!
