Free Lesson Plan
How Very Vermeer - Students will create a work in the style of Vermeer. They will begin by making a list of characteristics common to his works, such as indoor scene, one or more people in the scene, and strong light from a window to the left. After they have completed their list, they may begin composing a painting with several of these elements. Materials will include watercolor paper, a pencil, a black marker, oil pastels, baby oil and Q-Tips. Grade Level: 4-8
