I have been having a grand love affair for many years now. I have been in love with Jane Austen's work since I was a little girl. She is my favorite novelist of all time. I have all of her works, and I reread her classics over and over again. There are many reasons why Jane Austen is my favorite novelist.
Jane Austen Bio
Jane Austen was an English author who has written many wonderful classics for many generations to enjoy. She was born in 1775, and she died in 1875. Her books were about society of her time. She covered such topics as romance, marriage, money, relationships, status, and education. She wrote such famous works as "Pride and Prejudice", "Mansfield Park, "Emma", "Northanger Abbey", "Sense and Sensibility", and "Persuasion".
My Favorite Novel
I fell in love with Jane Austen's work when I was seven. I read her romantic famous novel "Pride and Prejudice" which made me rush to read more of her work. I loved her women characters in her books. I dreamed of being a strong woman figure that would fall madly in love. When I read Jane Austen novels I was in a magic wonderland far different then the life I lived. The character I always connected the most with was Jane.
Favorite Novelist
I have always been a lover of books. That is one of the reasons why I am a writer. Escaping the reality of my own world to wander through other worlds through the art of reading is an amazing experience. Simply by picking up a book I could be in a different place and time. I could project myself as another person experiencing other things. Reading Jane Austen's works has always been rewarding for me as an individual. It helped me sort out my own relationships and helped me shape my younger self into the type of woman I wanted to grow up to be.
Future Generations
Jane Austen's novels were not only for her time period because it has grown in popularity to current generations. Her novels have been made into movies. People read her work all over the world. She is one of the most beloved novelists ever. I am sure her novels will be loved for a very long time to come.
