January Jones Hit & Run: The Paparazzi Are to Blame

January Jones, who portrays pretty young suburban housewife and mother, Betty Draper on AMC's award winning series, Mad Men was involved in a hit and run accident.

The accident occurred around 9:00 pm on June 10, 2010. Mad Men star January Jones allegedly lost control of her SUV and slammed into three parked cars. According to the online site, www.thehollywoodgossip.com bystanders quote January Jones as saying, "I can't deal with this commotion", as she is seen leaving the site of the accident.

January Jones Blames the Accident on the Paparazzi
Once again, according to the Hollywood Gossip, January Jones states that the accident was caused by her being followed by the paparazzi. Reports also say that Jones states that she left the scene of the accident due to the paparazzi who had been following her.

Were Charges Filed Against January Jones?
According to reports no charges were filed against January Jones and a field sobriety test was not administered. Jones may have been wary of the press following her due to some embarrassing pictures circulating on the Internet, showing her arriving home in a cab wearing the same dress she was seen wearing the night before.

Other Celebrity Hit and Runs
January Jones joins the ranks of some of Hollywood's most notorious celebrities who have also been involved in hit and runs. These celebrities include: Heather Locklear who was involved in a hit and run earlier this year, and Hollywood bad girls Lindsay Lohan and Brittany Spears.

    I can't see the hit and run, especially when people know they've been seen. And what problem is there from the photographers? Being photographed is the job of an actress, after all. That's one of the things she gets paid for.
