Sara Aratake, the daughter of an architect at BBH will be putting on a concert for the relief of the victims of the recent Earthquake and flooding that followed.

The donations from the concert will go 100 percent to relief efforts in Japan. This is a pure charity event where what you give will be spent for the cause you want it to be.

Those choosing to help out should make their checks out to "Japan Society" with the "Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund" written on the memo line.

This concert includes a number of professional musicians and individuals who have made music study a serious interest.

Sara has also reported that there is a planned reception after the concert.

The space being used for the concert is in the "church" half of the "Leed Gold" building shared jointly by BBH Architects and Umstead Park UCC. This space is noted for the excellent acoustics and has been used by other musical groups and individuals.

The Japan Society created the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund on March 12th to assist the people affected by the earthquake and events following it. One Hundred Percent of the contributions go to the relief effort.

If you would like to help but cannot attend the concert you will find a link to the Japan Society at the end of this article.
