Jared Leto Growing Up in Haiti and Gives Rare Interview on Late Night TV & 30 Seconds to Mars Updates

30 Seconds to Mars , one of the world's biggest stadium bands was born when Jared Leto who (once starred in My So Called Life w/ Claire Danes, acted in such movies as Fight Club , Girl, Interrupted , and Alexander , and gave one of his best on-screen performances in Requiem for a Dream ) fronts Thirty Seconds to Mars as well as sings and plays guitar along with his brother Shannon Leto who plays drums, got together with Tomo Miličević in 1998.

Jared rarely gives interviews, but definitely stays busy, really busy. He writes all the band's music as well as edits and stars in each of their videos. Plus Jared is constantly on the road touring with Thirty Seconds to Mars as well as being an award winning actor, and is constantly bombarded by paparazzi wanting to know about his personal life, I'd say that's pretty busy. No wonder he doesn't have time for a love-life.

Recently, Jared gave late-night TV a surprise and showed up to perform "Closer to the Edge" on Jay Leno with his band members of Thirty Seconds To Mars and a band of Marines from The United States Marine Corp. Check out the performance HERE . (fast forward to 37:50 time mark.)

Jared Leto also gave a rare interview with George Lopez where he talks (with a sore throat and a cold) about dressing in drag, and getting banned for the "Hurricane" video being too racy.
