Jason Aldean in Panama City Beach, Florida: Best Concert of 2007

With thousands of concerts scheduled each year, it's hard to be able to attend everyone that you would like to see. Location, prices, and dates can play a big role in choosing which concert to see. I personally don't have neither the time nor the money to see every concert that comes to my area, but I do have to make a few exceptions.

The best concert that I went to in 2007 was the Jason Aldean concert in Panama City at the Marina Civic Center on May 11. I must say it was one of the best concerts that I had ever been to. Not to mention the cheapest. The tickets were $29.50 regardless of section or row. That's a great deal for tickets in my area!

The concert began at 8 pm and lasted until around 11 pm. The local country radio station, 96.9, hosted the Jason Aldean Concert and gave out many prizes among the audience. The show started off with a few locals who all did a great job. The opening show was quite impressive.

Jason Aldean came out around 8:35 pm and immediately broke out some of his greatest hits. Amaretto Sky, Hick Town, and Why, just to name a few. The concert was great! Jason Aldean gave a great performance. He sang his well known chart toppers, along with some of his upcoming hits. Between the lights, the smoke, and the fireworks it was awesome show.

The Marina Civic Center is quite large and capable of holding a few thousand guests. It does not have much room for venues so there weren't any , other than Country 96.9 and one table set up by Jason Aldean staff that was selling t-shirts, hats, pictures and sweaters. The prices of the shirts were quite low. The t-shirts ranged from $12 to $35 dollars. Not bad seeing that the average Panama City t-shirt costs over $15. The Marina Civic Center did have a small bar on the second floor that served both beer and liquor. The prices ranged from $4 - $12, but that was to be expected in this area.

All and all the Jason Aldean was the best concert I have ever been to. The show was incredible! The ticket prices were great and the seating was awesome! The Jason Aldean himself involved the audience in many songs and hilarious stories! Between the beach balls and hit songs, the Jason Aldean concert was a great one!
