Jason Castro has a Strong American Idol Performance
When he started singing, I was stunned. I never heard his version before. I though he did the song extremely well and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know why I was surprised since he is one of my favorites but I was. I think it was a great song pick. Jason Castro was the best singer tonight in my opinion. He will definitely be safe. He showed us true talent tonight. If you missed the show, you should really watch Jason Castro's performance. I think with his performances, he could possibly win American Idol.
It's exciting to see all of this talent year after year. It just keeps getting better. I hope that the years to come will keep getting better for American Idol. I know at the beginning everyone watches American Idol to see all of the bad singers. We all like to laugh at them. Towards the end I think we want to see excellent singers though. That is what American Idol is all about.
I think that the winner will be either Jason Castro or David Cook. Who knows though, I might be wrong. I'm getting impatient to find out who it will be. I know that everyone else is probably getting impatient also. Are you curious to see who the winner will be this year? Do you have an idea who it will be? Do you have a good ear for talent? Post a CommentJason brings the soul this season. He's not a glory note belter, nor a rock frontman. What Castro brings is honesty, emotion and connections to his material. He's the real deal.
Jason Castro left me in tears with his performance. Happy tears, they were. He sounded and looked like an angel. It was truly magical.
What I like about him best is his simplicity and authenticity. He sees no need to be flashy or pompous or over the top. His music is pure, raw and inspiring. And that's what music is supposed to be.
I also appreciate his graciousness in acknowledging Braddah Iz. That only goes to show the kind of person Jason is. Some AI contestants could learn a thing or two from this wonderful young man.
I agree with PJC, may the forces of the universe line up and make Jason the winner. He is a beautiful soul whose peaceful, quiet dignity is a breath of fresh air in a society so full of hypocrisy and desperation.
Amidst a competition full of seasoned performers and semi- veterans who have been singing most of their lives, Jason Castro has managed to hold his own despite having learned to play the guitar and sing barely two years ago. It is amazing how
I hope all the forces in the universe line up and Jason Castro wins. It would be such a nice change. He is not a cookie cutter performer. He is going to need the masses to win because the judges don't want him to win and they are not going to be any help. What is up with Randy Jackson saying he would not sign Jason - that Christy would have a better career. I know he is in the business but I think he is all wrong on this one.

How can you possibly say that Jason's performance was good. First, he looked totally ridiculous, like Tiny Tim and it was an awful performance. He will be off this week.
It depends on the target audience they have in mind . If they want a wider appeal, they should go with Jason Castro. He has the cute charism that will charm the tweeny fans and his artistic voice and song choices help rope in the tweeny's parent too . He is real talent and if American Idol is stay true to discovering real untap talen .. they should go with Jason Castro.
