The cover release today is for the British children's and adult editions of the book, which, is published by Bloomsbury, and the U.S editions of the book.

For the book jacket of the children's edition of the book, Jason Cockroft has created the artwork. Cockroft has done illustration work on two previous Harry Potter books. The new jacket cover for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow's has a number of interesting illustrations. The cover features very grown up looking Harry, Ron and Hermione jumping out of a golden circle and surrounded by lots of treasure. The three main characters, Harry, Ron and Hermione have frightened looks on their faces, cuts on their arms and rips in their robes.

On the inside front cover there is a picture of a majestic looking stag. As Harry Potter fans know the stage is Harry's patronus. On the back cover there is an illustration of a silver orb containing a snake. The silver orb will intrigue Harry Potter fans as it has appeared before. Also on the back cover appears an illustration of what looks to be Hogwarts castle.

Mary Grandpre, who has done the illustrations for all the U.S. Harry Potter books, has illustrated the U.S. children's edition book jacket. The U.S. jacket cover for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' places Harry against a red and gold background, the colours for Harry's house Gryffindor, and he has his arm reaching out. On the inside front cover there is a drawing of what looks to be the glowing eye's of Voldemort looking out from his cloak.

The photograph for the adult edition of the book is an antique looking gold locket. The locket looks very old and worn. It has and interestingly designed 'S' on it as well as some small green jewels. This seems to be the locket of Slytherin.

The adult book cover has the following unrevealing text, "Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task." "He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear the inexorable path laid out for him."

The final Harry Potter book 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' will be released around the world at one minute past midnight on July 21. J K Rowling has already told Harry Potter fans that two characters will die in the book sparking huge debate in the Harry Potter fandom and bookmakers to give odds on various characters chances of survival.
