Enter the New England Patriots.
It's no secret Bill Belichick holds Jason Taylor in high regard and Taylor is typical of the kind of player the Patriots covet. Much like Junior Seau, Taylor is a veteran player whom the Patriots feel still has some football left in him. Taylor is 34 years old and coming off a disappointing season in Washington, in which he missed games because of injuries. That being said, the runner up in the Dancing with the Stars competition would be a valuable addition to the Patriots.
Though there have been questions regarding whether or not Jason Taylor wants to continue playing football, if given a chance to join the New England Patriots, I think it would be hard for Taylor to pass up the opportunity. Jason Taylor enjoyed limited success while playing with the Dolphins, with some playoff runs, but it pales in comparison to what the Patriots have done during his career.
The New England Patriots will be fine without Jason Taylor, they have a good team without many holes and a ton of draft picks. Entering his 13th season, Jason Taylor could choose to finish his career with a team he feels he can win the elusive Super Bowl with. Another selling point for Taylor, he'd get to face the Miami Dolphins twice. Chad Pennington is crossing his fingers, hoping Taylor will retire or sign elsewhere.
Will Taylor stick around for another dance, and if he does, will he be wearing a Patriots jersey?

Post a CommentA player of Taylor's age and NFL experience if given the chance may opt to play for a team he thinks he can win a championship with. Taylor has stated he admires the Patriots organization. Taylor could still go back to the Fins, but I don't think it's dumb to think he should go to Patriots. That's what the patriots do get seasoned veterans to step in and peform for a couple of seasons, like Junior Seau.
to those of you who think taylor should go to the patroits are all dummies. he will make a perfect match with miami dolphins
Taylor has always been a great player with a motor that never quits. Taylor and Patriots are a good match.
I've always been a huge Jason Taylor fan and I hope he finishes his career with the Pats. He's a leader who would fit right in with the Patriots' culture.
Thank you, I knew I should've read it over again. I really think this is a perfect match Taylor and the Patriots.
A. I really, really hope he signs.
