Jason Winston George from "What About Brian"

Jason Winston George plays Jimmy on ABC's show, What About Brian alongside co-stars Barry Watson, Rosanna Arquette, Matthew Davis, and Tiffani Theissen, but how much do you really know about him? You may have seen his face more than you realize, on television commercials as well as television shows. Here is some trivia that you may not have known about the man, himself.

+ Jason is a Virginia native. He was born and raised in Virginia Beach, and he calls himself a Navy brat.

+ His mom is a former teacher a well as the president of the Education Association of Norfolk, Virginia.

+ In high school, Jason Winston George was an athlete as well as an honor student. He and is two brothers (one older and one younger) would come to realize that most of their sibling rivalry came from games of chess. One of his brothers is an actor as well.

+ When Jason was starting to think about college, his original plan was to become a lawyer. Over time, he decided to go in a different direction, and study Rhetoric and Communication. He got his degree at the University of Virginia, and continued his schooling at Temple University. He was three credits away from earning his master's degree, when he went to a casting cal for Sunset Beach, and beat out 14,000 other candidates to land the role. The school decided that he could count it as an independent study project, and he was able to finish out his master's of fine art degree.

+ He played Michael Bourne on Sunset Beach for three years.

+ He has had numerous other roles, including many commercials. He's also played Channing on Moesha, appeared for an episode of Roswell, and now plays Jimmy on What About Brian.

+ Other than acting and commercials, George has also done some voice-overs.

+ Jason has a plethora of talents other than acting. He can juggle as well as dance. He practices martial arts, and he also tumbles.

+ Currently, along with his role on What About Brian, co-starring with big named actors such as Barry Watson, Rosanna Arquette, and Tiffani Theissen, he is also on the Board of Directors for Temple University's School of Communication and Theater.

+ Jason Winston George has also already started his own family. He and his wife, Vandana Khanna, who he's been married to since July of 1999, have one child together.
