Java Poems IV

Blue Quartz Sky

Blue quartz sky
dazzles the eye

with fear and doubt
its master
inevitable destruction
comes much
faster

its a wonder
the world
isn't torn
asunder.

Ear of Consolation

In the Midst of family
and the embrace
of a destined lover
my world, quickly,
becomes lonely.

Friendship sought
and an ear of consolation,
the mind is betrayed.
The corrupted soul
extinguished.
The reborn welcomed,
lost, and left in solitude
for its past transgressions.

Solitary Hubcap

Solitary Hubcap
our stories
seem to be
similar; familiar.
Abandoned by
your home;
cast aside
and left
alone.

We reflect
the glory that
is the world
at large,
beautiful,
serene,
and
revealing;
yet, in our
solitude we
appear trapped.

Attempted Murder
of The
Mornings Glory

The world is quiet,
all but the roar
of mechanical beast
roaming concrete paths.

The sky is crystal clear
with plum accents
shading its velvet horizon.

A message seems ready
to be delivered in the
multitude of the days injuries
as an enemy approaches.
With its armor of death
it draws its weapon of mass
destruction, cancer, and strikes
again at this love predestined.
Thus, attempting to shatter
the presence of the
morning's glory.
