Java Software: A Wonderful Robust Language, Able to Do Important Tasks

From your future toaster to your car outside, Java software is creeping into everyday life like a unstoppable spider, invading the frig, the MP3 player, the TV, even your microwave. Java will be in everything that has an electrical "pulse". Java is in all of the fortune 500 companies. Java software has the unique capabilty to do this because of its unique birth.

It was born out of a programmers frustrations with another programming language, C++. The man was James Gosling and from his frustrations came a jewel. Java software uses a special universal way of communicating with devices and controlling them. Since this universal device, called a " java virtual machine" or JVM can be installed on so many devices that can understand logic, the future of Java software is virtually secured.

Java software is used aplenty in cell phones. ( Eight out of ten cell phones run Java. ) It can be used to make those marvellous games we love to kill time with. Most newer mobile devices are going to have that wonderful JVM pre-installed, just like your computer does. But games are not the only thing on cell phones.

Applications using Java software are also commonly used for smart cards, and since your cell phone has a lot of ability just like a smart card does, you can bet your "bottom dollar" financial transactions are going to be taking place using Java software and your cell. It is already being talked about.

Java software can deliver stock quotes to that same cell phone, or game scores, or tell you where your friends are. Java software is so closely involved with the inner workings of your cell, that it can control the workings of the phone itself.

This wonderful programming language is secure by default. While many other languages can become nasty ones just by being used by programmers with less-than-good intentions, Java is very hard use that way, since the JVM takes care of all that automatically. A testimony to the superior usefulness of Java software is that it is being used on more devices than all its competitors combined. This includes Microsoft and Apple. There is no end in sight. The Java software legend is securely placed in computing history.

As many of you many not yet know, Java software has been to Mars ! Yes, that is right, those Mars rovers that were sent up a few years back were traveling around on the Red Planet using none other than Java. The Spirit rover used it to decide how to get to where it needed to go. It is literally everywhere in the developed world and in outer space.

So, why am I so excited about Java software ? Well, for one, I started to actually learn it finally. It is not hard ! This makes me excited, because I have so many things I want my cell phone and computer to do for me. Practically speaking, its either Java software for me, or nothing at all. If you are a budding programmer, and are still trying to decide which language to learn, consider Java. It has been the transcending language for me. I am sure Java software will do even bigger things in the future.
