After dating for six years, Jay-Z and Beyoncé got married in a private ceremony on Friday. While there is no official confirmation about Jay-Z and Beyoncé's wedding, it's been confirmed with numerous sources online recently.

As a huge fan of both artists, news of Jay-Z and Beyoncé's wedding caught my interest, since they're my favorite celebrity couple. I recently went to Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige's concert just a few weeks ago. I've followed Jay-Z since 1996, and have loved Beyoncé since her first hit with Destiny's Child in 1997.

People have been speculating on the hot couple's plans for marriage since they worked on "Crazy in Love" in 2003. The wedding rumors started flying again when Jay-Z and Beyoncé got a marriage license last Tuesday.

A source told People.com that, "Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family." The intimate wedding ceremony was alleged to be at a chapel in Westchester, New York on Friday afternoon, with around 30 close friends and family. The guests included the bride and groom's families and friends, including Gwyneth Palthrow, and members of Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The Chicago Sun Times reports that for Jay-Z and Beyonce's wedding, the rapper wrote and read a special rap poem for his bride. The bride also penned a poetic tribute to the groom, reportedly in tears after hearing him profess his love.

The Jay-Z and Beyonce wedding party then moved on to a lavish party at the rapper's luxury New York City penthouse apartment in the TriBeCa area. The wedding reception was reportedly attended by more than 200 guests, including Jermaine Dupri and his girlfriend (wife?) Janet Jackson, R&B singer Usher, rappers Wyclef Jean and Kanye West, producer Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Hudson, and Jamie Foxx.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé wedding pictures will be worth a fortune to the magazine that gets the deal. Word has it that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are negotiating exclusive deals for the wedding photos, and the huge payoff will be donated to charities such as Darfur relief and an inner city New York kids sports program supported by Jay-Z.

So what next after the Jay-Z and Beyoncé wedding? The happy newlyweds won't have time for a honeymoon just yet. Jay-Z is in the middle of his North American tour with the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.
