J.Crew Summer Style Guide

J.Crew has recently released their 2008 Summer Style Guide on their website. It features twelve new looks from their collection and there is one for every occasion. The color palette for this summer seems to be pale greens, fun yellows, and silvery metalics. So here's a description of a few new look J.Crew has to offer in their new 2008 Summer Style Guide. They are listed in order of where they appeared in the style guide, numbered from left to right, top to bottom.

#1 This look features a cute white button up shirt, silvery metallic tiered skirt, and a spicy mustard cardigan that has been tied around the waist. The shoes are t-strap sandals in a pretty emerald color.

#2 This look has a light green polo with a pretty sour lemon polka-dot shirt underneath. The cuffed shorts are natural linen with gold dots on them, and the flats are to die for! They have a beautiful green and gold pattern with yellow gems and a brown bow at the toe. In the picture, the model has two bracelets on. Each bracelet has a jeweled flower and pearl-like beads.

#3 This look is very simple and trendy. It features a white shirt underneath a silver sequined cardigan. The jeans are light blue capris and the shoes are metallic silver peep-toe flats. The model is also wearing the necklace version of the bracelet discussed in outfit #2.

#6This look has a metallic jacquard jacket over a grey tee. The chino shorts are khaki and the necklace has brightly colors blue and green aquatic charms on a gold chain.

#8 This look has the same spicy mustard cardigan from look #1 over a green silk tank top. This is paired with some stone chino shorts, a skinny brown belt, and a cute little canvas bag with brown straps.

#11 This look combines a silk-linen v-neck sweater with light grey trousers. They pair this with some high-heel sandals and a delicate gold chain with small charms scattered along it.

#12 This look features a yellow cashmere cardigan over a mustard silk polka-dot op. The shorts are, again, the chino shorts and the model is wearing white t-strap sandals. She is also wearing quite a few pieces of jewelry. She has a cute little charm bracelet with a starfish, beach ball, and fish. She also has a pretty ring made up of 18K gold and brightly colored stones. The other ring she has features a large starfish made up of 18K gold-plated metal and little crystal rhinestones.
