Jeans and a T-Shirt: The Sexiest Look for Men

Women love clothes. Women love it when men wear attractive clothes. Not only that, a man who looks good exudes confidence, and confidence is attractive. A man who is confident, who feels good about himself is the sort of man women and other people trust. He looks open, sincere, knowable, and touchable. And men who are trustworthy and knowable are far more successful in whatever their endeavors are, whether it's relationships or work. A man can really improve his image by improving his everyday casual look.

A recent survey found on MSN taken by the women staff for Cosmo, Marie Clare, O, and Harper's Bazaar revealed that women think men look sexiest in blue jeans, sneakers, and a white T-shirt. But while it can be true that a good-looking man with a great build can look sexy in jeans and a white T-shirt, a man automatically reaching for this number is like a woman automatically reaching for the little black cocktail dress (please see my women's article "How To Dress Sexy.") Reaching for something that's less basic and less typical will help you to stand out from the crowd. Reaching for something with more color in it will distinguish you and your personality.

What colors to add to your wardrobe: The same MSN survey offered a very good tip for that: anything that matches the color of your eyes is sexy. A man in a shirt that picks up the color of his eyes paints a very vivid picture. Blues and browns of course are also good too. And anything that contrasts against your skin tone, or picks up the colors in your skin will make you look ultra appealing. An article published in Esquire posted on MSN, titled "The New Laws of Fashion," advised that other colors that look great on men's skin, because shows off the color of your skin, are teal, aqua, coral, and even pink. As Daniel Billet says in his article "Real Men Wear Pink" posted on www.about.com, real men really do wear pink. Pink is a sensual, warm, inviting, and alluring color. According to Billet, men who wear pink exude both confidence and sensitivity. Plus, a lot of women love pink. Pink gets noticed. I can think of a few different times when I finally noticed men I came into contact with everyday whom I didn't normally pay attention to, or to what they were wearing, and what they were wearing was-pink! Not because it's a surprising color to wear; not because I thought they looked silly or out of place-the color actually looks very natural on men; but, because the color just grabs attention and makes a man look inviting. Plus, the Feng Shui philosophy states that red and pink are the colors that allure romance. Just don't wear it on a first date-you'll look like you're trying too hard.

Jeans: Jeans look one-hundred times sexier when they fit well. Actually, you'll look one-hundred times more attractive if all your clothes fit you well without anything sagging or bagging. A man can easily find good jeans with an attractive, sexy fit that are actually relaxed fitting and comfortable. These straight cut jeans from Banana Republic are the perfect example of relaxed fitting and comfortable, but they also look great with anything. For something a little trendier looking, try these that are lightly whiskered and also have a relaxed fit. And if you can handle it, even something that's a little more fitted in the legs, like these found at Bergdorf Goodman, make you look even greater. Also, an article from Esquire featured on MSN stated that blue jeans are good, dark blue is even better, and leave the boot cuts for the cowgirls and the black jeans for the ex-cons.
