If you're a race fan, chances are you have, or you want, replicas of your favorite driver's car. Jeff Gordon's Number 24 car is one of the most popular among diecast collectors. NASCAR diecast cars come in two scale sizes, 1:24 and 1:64. These models are currently available for pre-order: the 2008 Jeff Gordon #24 EA Sports Eldora Dirt Late Model 1/24 Diecast; the 2008 Jeff Gordon #24 Pepsi Stuff 1/24 Ma Action Diecast; the 2008 Jeff Gordon #24 Jeff Gordon Foundation Speed Racer Fantasy Car 1/24 Ma Action Diecast; the 2008 Jeff Gordon #24 Dupont - Salute The Troops Special *Liquid Color* 1/24 Ma Action Diecast; the 2008 Jeff Gordon #24 Test Car 1/24 Ma Action Diecast; and the Jeff Gordon #4 Usac Sprint Car 1/24 Ma Action Diecast to commemorate Gordon's days of racing sprint cars.
2007 diecast replicas of Gordon's cars include: the 2007 Jeff Gordon #24 Nicorette *Color Chrome* 1/24 Qvc Ma Diecast; the 2007 Jeff Gordon #24 American Heros Special 1/24 Ma Diecast; the 2007 Jeff Gordon #24 Charlotte Winner Raced Version 1/24 Ma Diecast (comes with race markings and even though Gordon won the race, he did get the car pretty banged up); and the 2007 Jeff Gordon #24 Car Of Tomorrow - Talladega Pepsi Winner Raced Version 1/24 Ma Diecast (again, comes with race markings). There's also a 2007 Jeff Gordon #24 Jeff Gordon Foundation Holiday Fantasy Car 1/24 Ma Diecast featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. If you're a Gordon fan, this one is a must-have.
The 1/64 scale diecast models feature the most popular cars but are smaller and less expensive than the 1/24 models. The 1/64 scale diecast replicas also feature the popular collectible haulers. The haulers have realistic styling, rearview mirrors, chrome-colored accents, working wheels and trailers with rear-opening doors. In addition, the haulers feature high-quality paint and official graphics; and some come with a certificate of authenticity. The 1/64 scale model Jeff Gordon hauler is approximately 13½ inches long.
For the really serious collector, there is a 1/64 diecast replica of Jeff Gordon's car along with a photo and a piece of track in a shadow box. The limited edition collector's item features a photo of Gordon at the Daytona 500 and a 1:64 scale die-cast replica of his car mounted on an actual piece of track from the Daytona International Speedway. The shadow box is officially licensed by NASCAR and has an individually numbered tamper-evident hologram.
