If you are looking for a fun place to camp with your kids take them to Jellystone. Jellystone parks are located in other places besides Colorado. By simply visiting their site you can see if there is a location near you.
This campsite offers cabins for rent of various sizes from 2- 8 people. They offer places for your RV's and for your tents, pop up campers as well. Depending on the time of year you go will depend on the cost of the cabin. The cabins range in price anywhere from $66.00 to $300.00 a night for the largest cabin available which sleeps 8 people.
If you decide to bring your own camper or RV there are plenty of options for that as well. You have option of hooking up to water and electric for an additional charge. This of course is not mandatory. The rates depending on the time of the year range from $23.00 to $55.00 per night. There are different types of hookups available as well. You can get a site without water and electric, or with it. You can also get sites which have higher watt electric and electric sewer pump out service for the premium sites.
You may also rent a trailer from the park if you don't want to drag your own along. Their rates are very reasonable for bringing your own or renting one of theirs. The rates for this are quite reasonable as well. The rates range from $45.00 to $95.00 a night. Both campers and RV's are available for rent.
The campsite is a family oriented place with something to do for everyone. The campgrounds back right up to Roosevelt National Forest and are nearby to Rocky Mountain National Park. You are also within a close proximity to Estes Park village for some shopping or dining.
The park offers wagon rides with Yogi Bear for the kids, movies, ceramics, crafts, movies and cartoons, 2 large playgrounds, a heated swimming pool, horseshoes, mini golf, and a basketball court. These are just some of the amenities that this camp ground has to offer.
The services offered are great too! If you don't want to cook breakfast you can eat there! They have a laundry facility, a propane fill station, gift stores and even wireless internet service. No you have absolutely no excuses why you can't take the family camping! Not to mention that you can make your reservations online as well as calling.

Jellystone Park also does birthday parties and themed weeks at the camp grounds. Some of these themes are: for mother's day, bring a friend weekend, the pic-a-nic Olympics, Mardi gras, fathers day, yogi's birthday, fourth of July celebration, pirates and a Halloween weekend. This is just some of the themed weekend events that they offer.
The staff is really friendly and helpful at this campground. The amenities are perfect for a family to have a great trip.
