Jenna Fischer Separates from Husband: Statement on MySpace

About a month ago, Jenna Fischer posted a blog on MySpace about her recent decision to separate from director and writer, James Gunn. Jenna met James through his brother Sean Gunn. Sean and Jenna were in acting class together when they were children. The news of Jenna's separation from her husband came as a big surprise but is the road that many celebrities end up taking.

Jenna Fischer MySpace blog read, "We (James and Jenna) need to announce that we have chosen to separate. We are sorry for any pain this causes family and friends. The enthusiasm we have expressed for each other's lives, spirits, and careers is real - we have been each other's cheerleader and friend during the past six years and continue to be so now and in the future.

And a special note for our MySpace fans - We appreciate your support over the years, and would be overjoyed to have you continue supporting us both. You might be tempted to make one of us "feel better" by putting the other one down in a post. Please don't - we still have the utmost respect for one another, and we'd have to delete you. We aren't taking questions or doing interviews about this particular aspect of our lives. We're also avoiding reading any press on the subject, so don't send us any clippings or links about the split. Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy."

Jenna Fischer's career is taking off at this point and time and it may be one of the reasons why her marriage suffered. Lately, Jenna has been working hard as Pam Beasley in the hilarious comedy, The Office. This past year, she has also been working on movies such as, The Brother's Solomon, Blades of Glory, and Slither. She also starred in a video for Willie Wisley's song, Through Any Window.

There is no doubt that she has been working hard this past year and it is probably just the start of her way up to the top. Jenna Fischer is an excellent actress and genuinely a nice person. She cares about her fans and appreciates them. You can tell just by visiting her MySpace page and reading her blogs. It is about time that a celebrity appreciates her fans publicly in a down to earth way through MySpace.

Will Jenna and James actually make their separation permanent and get divorced? I am willing to bet that the answer is, yes. I do not believe that Jenna would have posted publicly about it if they were not serious. Hopefully, they will remain amicable and be able to part ways learning something from their time together.
