Jenna Jameson is a Drug Addict Claims Boyfriend Tito Ortiz

Okay. Round two. Tito Ortiz held a press conference late yesterday with his attorney, Chip Matthews, to explain that Jenna Jameson is battling a drug addiction to the narcotic pain killer, Oxycontin. If this is true, and it has been going on for quite some time, then that would completely explain Jenna's unhealthy weight loss a couple of years ago.

A tearful Tito Ortiz said through his attorney that he had never laid a hand on Jenna and that the marks on Jenna's arms were the result of her losing her balance and falling down. Again, if we're talking an Oxycontin addiction here, that would certainly explain losing one's balance and falling.

Tito went on to say that Jenna suffered a relapse and was having an emotional breakdown when her father, James, made the 911 call. However, this does not explain the alleged comment that Jenna's father made to the photographers when they asked if Jenna was going to file a restraining order against Tito. James answered for his daughter and said, "It's already been filed"

Tito also claims that he now has the full support of the Jameson family saying, "It means the world to me, my friends and family for their support. My parents have been through an addiction and I see it in the mirror again. I am not going to let my family go through that," a sobbing Ortiz told us. "I speak from my heart; I hold everything dear to my heart that Jenna will be okay."

So, if this new turn of events doesn't send tongues wagging and stir the pot of confusing and conflicting stories this morning, stand by. The day is young and promises to bring even more questions and inaccurate information, I'm sure.

Tragically, of course, there always have to be children involved in these flamboyant tales of drug abuse and domestic violence in celebrity land. Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz have two little boys who desperately need a mom and dad to behave like adults. If not, we may be reading about two young men who've been set loose on society inflicting all kinds of co-dependent drama on unsuspecting citizens, one day.

But, perhaps Tito Ortiz really is a gentle giant in a Goliath body and wants to help his girlfriend and mother of his children beat oxycontin - no pun intended here, folks. Having seen what drug abuse can do to someone's sensibilities, his story that she had a relapse, lost her balance and fell is an entirely plausible explanation. It also explains Jenna's sudden turn of heart later that day when she said she did not intend to press charges against her boyfriend. Confusing? Yes. But, if we're talking drug abuse it makes complete sense. Here's to hoping Tito can use his fighting strength to be Jenna's hero. She's going to need one.
