Jennifer Aniston is voted most eligible, but does she have an image problem?
If there's one thing Jennifer Aniston is developing, it's an image problem. The first is her record with men. Jennifer has been in a number of relationships, including Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins, yet none of them have stuck. Unfortunately, the opinion of a number of people is echoed in the words of this commenter, "Single, maybe, but would you marry her? Why buy the milk when the cow comes for free?"
The second is her fame. Some claim the only reason she's well-known is because of her famous marriage. "A long gone Lassie is more appealing than this bimbo whose only real claim to fame is she was married to Brad Pitt," says a commenter.
But is Jennifer really an unlucky-in-love woman with no talent? It's true that the beautiful actress has not been able to settle down since Brad Pitt, but it's fair to say that Jennifer Aniston is a talent in her own right. The Emmy award winning actress has proven that she can indeed act. Her years as Rachel Green on Friends established her popularity without the assistance of her ex-husband.
As Jennifer Aniston moves on in life is marriage something she wants?
Jennifer Aniston made statements before that you don't need a man to have a baby. Does that mean she realizes the clock is ticking in more ways than one?
Jennifer Aniston is voted most eligible, but she is also getting older. Hollywood can be cruel to women as they age and celebrities are narcissistic people who want to be with other people who make them look good. As reported at Psychology Today in the article Narcissism and Celebrity Relationships, "A particular problem for narcissists is that they tend always to be looking to upgrade their partners. To a narcissist, a relationship is a way of glorifying the self. They may like to show off their partners, but if a new partner becomes available, especially an even more glamorous one, narcissists are tempted to go after the new one."
As the 41-year-old Jennifer Aniston ages, her attraction ages as well. New and younger female celebrities appear every year. Although it may be cool to be with a Jennifer Aniston now, what about in the future? Maybe Jennifer should ditch dating fellow celebrities and date the camera man.

Post a CommentI actually agree with Megan and Maria.
Oh, and Maria/Megan, I have a feeling you may actually be an AC contributor I had a run-in with. LOL
I'm with the times, Maria. I'm a celebrity gossip writer and that means I focus on the current gossip - no matter what the issue is. I'll continue to write about Jennifer Aniston as long as Ms. Aniston is in the news.
I love Jen, but people should just leave her alone. People (including this writer) seem to be stuck in the 18th century, where a woman just HAD to have a man by her side. We are in the 21st century, get with the times. Jen is beautiful, rich, funny and one of the most down to earth people in the industry. If Jen is single for the rest of her life, then just be happy for her. But as I said: GET WITH THE TIMES.
She just comes off as being so desperate. And she keeps playing Rachel over and over and over. Zzzzzz.
It's nonsense to attempt to analyze Aniston, we have no idea who this lady is. As for her public persona, she was famous before Pitt, clearly has talent, and remains in the spotlight to her benefit. Sounds like a smart woman to me. As for the "most eligible" theme? Why wouldn't she want to be on the list - she IS a great catch!
Ted's a naughty boy.
Eligible for what?
