Jennifer Aniston - Tot to Hot, Her Life in Pictures

Jennifer Anniston has been in the lime light for years and is no stranger to the camera. Her long career has been one of major success and may have had something to do with her influences as a young child. Jennifer was born in Sherman Oaks, California, but grew up in New York City with a mother who acted in short films and a father who was a huge soap opera success. Her godfather, and her father's best friend, was the actor Telly Savalas, better known as Kojak.

"Aniston moved to Hollywood and was cast in her first television role in 1990, starring as a regular on the short-lived series Molloy and in the TV movie Camp Cucamonga." She even starred in a horror movie, called Leprechaun that was just terrible. After many attempts to make her mark in a series of TV episodes that all went wayward, Aniston almost gave up acting. Then the opportunity came along for her to audition for Friends. Jennifer Aniston received a part in the popular TV series and became well known to households everywhere as the whiney and snobby, yet lovable character, Rachel. Since 1994 when Friends first aired, Jennifer Aniston has worked her way to secure a place in Hollywood, which is how she finally made her way into the movie industry once the series ended in 2004.

In 2003, just before Friends final show, Jennifer co-starred with Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty, a huge box office hit. She also starred in Along Came Polly with Ben Stiller, and The Break-Up with Vince Vaughn. In 2007, Forbes claimed Aniston was the "10th richest woman in the entertainment industry." making just under Jennifer Lopez and Julia Roberts. She reportedly made more than the Olsen Twins, Britney Spears and Judge Judy.

In her personal life, she has not had nearly the same long-term success as in her career. Just like Friends was the turning point in Jennifer's career, much of the world would have bet that Brad Pitt was the turning point in her relationship success. Since 1990, Jennifer has dated a slue of men including Charlie Schlatter, Daniel McDonald, Adam Duritz, and Tate Donovan prior to dating Brad Pitt in 1998. They married in 2000 and then stunned the world with their divorce in 2005. But Jennifer didn't give up on dating any more than she gave up on her acting career. She kept plugging along dating well-known and not-so-well known people like actor Vince Vaughn, model Paul Sculfor, and musician John Mayer.

Her most recent media attention involves claims that Jennifer is interested in adopting a child and Brad Pitt is showing her the ropes.
