Jennifer Lopez Crying Video Buzz of Night

Jennifer Lopez crying video could be the big buzz of the next 24 hours. The American Idol judge broke down into tears after having to dismiss Chris Medina from Milwaukee tonight. Lopez, who seemed visibly shaken by having to deliver the news, seemed to be in agony as the show drew to a close. You may remember Chris Medina as the guy who brought his sick girlfriend on the audition and introduced her to the judges. It was a touching moment the judges clearly remembered when trying to softly dismiss Medina from the show tonight.

Will Jennifer Lopez quit crying and get ready for the next round of eliminations? American Idol is inching closer to the Final 24. In fact, the list of the American Idol final 24 is at least halfway there through the 2 hour recap show tonight. The only hitch is the last video we see of American Idol is Jennifer Lopez crying and a tease that she might not make it through the remainder of the current eliminations.

Surely J-Lo will pull it together so the judges can get it down to the Final 24. The tease made it look as if Jennifer Lopez might actually walk away from her responsibilities because it's just too emotionally draining. That doesn't seem very realistic at this point but you never know with American Idol. Needless to say, the final 24 will be in tact after the show on Thursday and Jennifer Lopez will be back on track.

Until that point, Jennifer Lopez crying on American Idol might serve as "the most emotional moment" of the 2011 season to date. It simply shows that Lopez is bonding quite quickly with the contestants and is deeply touched when they have to leave and put their dreams on hold at least in the short term. It's nice to see that kind of caring attitude from the judges this season in comparison to the glare Simon Cowell would have offered during a similar situation. Jennifer Lopez isn't going to say "tough cookie"--she is obviously hooked emotionally to the better well being of each contestant--and that says a lot about her nature and personality.

People who missed the show will probably be wondering what happened on American Idol when search terms like "Jennifer Lopez crying" pops up on the hot trends of the day. Let's just say the J-Lo crying video is well worth "the watch". It's rare to see such natural and truthful emotion from a huge celebrity. I could be wrong-but I think that means by my account that J-Lo has already passed her American Idol judge test-well before the Final 24 list had ever been decided.
