The Jennifer Lopez "On The Floor" video on American Idol sizzled last night. Not only did Jennifer Lopez show contestants how it's done, she also might have earned a few new fans with her pumped up dance song.
American Idol fans got a treat when they got to watch the debut of the "On The Floor" video during the last portion of the show. How was it received?

Let's just say the official Jennifer Lopez "On The Floor" video is approaching near 1 million hits today on YouTube. Did American Idol just sell a few records for JLo? I think it's safe to say Lopez is already benefiting from her exposure on American Idol. Unlike her counterpart Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez continually seems to evolve and put out high energy and well respected dance music. Regardless of American Idol, the new Jennifer Lopez song was inevitably going to make a huge splash-especially with dance and pop fans.

You can watch the latest official music video of "On The Floor" here on YouTube.

Lopez, who is normally known for her dance moves, doesn't let anyone done with one of the highest energy releases of her career. She teams with rapper PitBull to pull off a song that is destined to be a dance club favorite over the next few weeks and months.

JLo might be "Jenny From The Block", but she sure knows how to create music that leaves a resounding impact on her fans. A lot of people might have watched the debut of the JLO "On The Floor" video last night and asked the question, "who is the rapper in the video?". The answer to that question is "Pitbull."

Pitbull. according to Wikipedia, is really named Armando Christian Perez. You might know Pitbull from his song called "I Know What You Want Me (Calle Ocho)". Check out the Pitbull video here on YouTube if you don't remember this catchy song.

My guess is there have been many searches to watch the Jennifer Lopez "On The Floor" video today and probably many searches to find out who Pitbull is. If he wasn't already famous, Pitbull is definitely on the radar after the benefit of American Idol exposure last night during the JLo video premiere. The two have combined to put together a captivating dance song that could be one of the strong pop hits of 2011.
