Jennifer Lopez Gives Birth to Twins

JLo and Marc Anthony New Parents

Janice Villa
Jennifer Lopez, 38, and her husband Marc Anthony, 39, have just become parents. Jennifer gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The babies were born on February 22, 2008 in Long Island, New York. The baby girl, born at 12:12 am, weighed 5 pounds and 7 ounces. The baby boy, born at 12:23 am, weighed 6 pounds.

The twins are the first children for Jennifer Lopez and the fourth and fifth children for husband, Marc Anthony. She had avoided answering the question about the pregnancy in October. Jennifer finally announced her "rumored" pregnancy on a November concert tour in Miami with her husband. She had also kept it a secret when she avoided answering the questions about her marriage to Marc Anthony in 2004.

Names haven't been officially released but some are saying the babies will be named Max and Emme. JLo's mother, Guadalupe, was seen purchasing engraved gold bracelets in New York with the names Max and Emme on them.

She named them Max and Emme, from the popular children's show, "Dragon Tales."

I can only imagine the happiness. One girl and one boy. She craved for her own children and was blessed with both.
