Jennifer Lopez Has a Signature Style, and So Do You

Having just revealed her new "Just Sweet" clothing line at New York Fashion Week and recently being named one of People magazine's Best Dressed of 2007, Jennifer Lopez is definitely at the top of her fashion game. Being known as a trendsetter and someone with timeless style, Jennifer's look is always fashionable, chic and well-put together. She is even known as a style icon by many. That's what we love so much about her - that impeccable, signature style.

So in the spirit of Jennifer Lopez, what is your signature style and if you're not sure how do you go about finding it? Everybody has a signature style although many of us often leave it unchanneled preferring to just opt for something comfortable and functional but if you dare to take your fashion sense beyond the everyday, what type of style would you find?

The first tip in finding your signature style is to look for clothes that inspire you. Jennifer Lopez continues to reinvent her style to keep her on the cutting edge in fashion. Find out what works for you. Flip through your favorite fashion magazine and see what really stands out to you. Do you love bold, bright colors? Are you more of a neutral, low key dresser? Once you've got a handle on the types of clothing that fit your personal style why not take a trip to one of your favorite clothing stores for a little shopping therapy? Play dress up. Search for clothes that contain the same elements that you found appealing in the magazines and start to put some looks together. After a little trial and error, you will start to know when your signature look is really coming together. Before long you'll be in the ranks with Jennifer Lopez herself even if only in your own little world.
