J-Lo opts for the quiet life at home

Jennifer Lopez and entertainer Marc Anthony married in a quiet home wedding on June 5, 2004, not so long after the actress ended her well publicized relationship with nice-guy Ben Affleck who subsequently married Jennifer Garner.

Since the birth of their to fraternal twins, a girl and a boy, Emme Maribel Muñiz, and Maximilian "Max" David Muñiz on February 22, 2008, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony have kept their kids out of the spotlight. Ben and Jen have also kept a low profile when it comes to their family life with their two young daughters.

J-Lo recently scored a judging gig on American Idol said to be worth US$12million. She is also an accomplished actress, singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, fashion designer, television producer, model, choreographer, entrepreneur, Miami Dolphins part-owner. But she is not too busy to put time into charity work.

Jennifer's latest venture is to join her twins in their modeling debut in a campaign for fashion house Gucci's childrens' line. Photographed on the beach holding her twins in her arms, the entertainer is said to be delighted with the results.

"It's the first time I have worked with my kids in that way. It was a totally special experience...," she told Us Weekly.

"I did a photo shoot when they were three weeks old, but now that they are two-and-a-half, it's totally different."

Lopez reports she agreed to the campaign as part of Gucci's charity endeavors. They have donated $US1 million (AU$1.03 million) to UNICEF's Schools for Africa initiative and $US50,000 (AU$51,308) to Lopez's own charity the Maribel Foundation.

"I was particularly inspired when I first met Gucci creative director Frida Giannini in 2008 at the fund raising event she hosted in New York to benefit UNICEF," she said.

"When Frida told me about her trip to Malawi and her excitement about launching her new childrens' collection, I was inspired by her idea to build upon Gucci's long term support for UNICEF with a donation in honor of the launch of the collection.

"As a mother, I am proud to be a part of this campaign to benefit UNICEF's Schools for Africa program."

The gorgeous twins look happy and relaxed in the photograph - two tiny tots out having fun with their Mom.
