Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer Review
With Natural Botanicals & Subtle Skin Darkening Complex
Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer says it "creates a healthy, summer glow all year long just by moisturizing". Now I tried using it for a couple weeks consistently (I used the Medium skin tones one) and I only noticed a minimal amount of "summer glow".
The product didn't 'wow' me, or impress me in any way.
I'm sure like a lot of you out there that have seen the commercials for Jergens are expecting this great product that moisturizes and gives you that beautiful tan look of healthy summer skin, Well I was expecting all of that anyways, and was extremely disappointed in the product and quite frankly it made me have a bad feeling about Jergens all together.
Not only did I NOT see hardly any difference in my skin, but the product smells like a cheap self tanning lotion, so in the morning after showering I would put Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer on, and by the end of the day I would smell like an old smelly tanning salon, and with all of that came the paranoia, wondering if everyone around me smelled me too because every time I would move I would get a nasty wiff of self tanners.
The moisturizer made my skin feel sticky and uncomfortable, and who wants to go through a whole day feeling sticky and stinky just for a "summer glow"?!
I would much rather go to a stinky tanning salon and pay twice as much as the lotion costs to get a quickie tan that shows up right away, and go take a shower so I smell fresh and clean, without the sticky, stinky gross moisturizer covering my body.
But if you don't want to take my word for it, and would like to try it for yourself, there are a lot of places that sell Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer.

Post a CommentAlthough too greasy, it smelled OK and looked OK for a few days but when I stopped using it, my legs turned orange and became patchy and uneven in color. Crap.
I too have got a rash!!! I used it for about a month and had no rash but then all of a sudden I got the rash on every spot on my body where i appleid it!

I also got a terrible rash after using it and know that it has self tanners in it because I get the same rash from all self tanners (got the worst one from a spray tan). Rash has lasted 5 weeks and is still so itchy I just keep making it worse by scratching. Looks like I have chicken pox (but I don't). Only effected my lower legs. The smell is also terrible!! It is no better than regular self tanners.
I too have developed a horrible rash when I started using Jergen's lotion. The rash has lasted for three [3] weeks. We should enter a class action suit against Jergens...this product must be removed from the shelves since there are numerous comcomplaints.
I've been having skin issues all summer and I finally attributed it to this horrible product! These itchy red rashes seemed to come at the worst time- right before I went to the beach- and I finally realized it was because I was using Jergen's the week before the beach! So disappointed but at least I see that I'm not the only one!
I think I'm allergic to this product or something...and I don't have sensitive skin...after applying this product for a couple of days, the skin on my chest area erupted with a bunch of tiny pimple-like sores...needless to say I was horrified. I tried to see if they would go away on their own, but as long as I was applying this product, there were new pimples every day...when I stopped using the product, the sores disappeared very quickly. Oh yeah, and I went through this twice, about a year apart...so it had to be the product.
I may be in denial but after reading various comments I think it's the product. I started to use Jergens firming formula to pick up a little color before a beach getaway. I used it for say 3 days and was happy with the outcome. Just enough so my legs looked less pasty and more beach ready. I didn't use the product while on the trip. Day 3 of the trip I went snorkeling and BAM! I went into the salt water and my right calf felt as though it was on fire. I thought OMG must be razor burn from shaving and going in the salt water. When I returned to the boat my calf had almost a bubbly hive appearance (unlike any razor burn I've ever had). I was feeling in semi panic mode as it really did sting! The appearance looked almost like I had just singed my skin over a flame (no pretty). The next day the rash was still there looking a bit less horrid but still; it wasn't pretty. A couple days after returning from the trip it seemed to almost be gone but for a faded 'pinkness' I'm sure onl
I tried Jergens but I didn't like the
over powering smell and color. I use to
use Olay Touch of sun for my face but
it has been discontinued and looking for
a natural tan look.
This product is a danger to the nation and needs to get taken off the shelves!!! My wife used Jergens Firming Natural Glow once on her legs and has had a horrible bright red rash that has been there for over 4 months with no signs of healing! We have followed Doctor recommendations and used everything including a prescribed medicated steroid that did nothing to help heal it. This horrible product has put a huge red rash all over her legs that looks like peeling blisters! I have been laid off and no longer have insurance and the doctor bills are piling up! Currently after her 4th visit to a doctor we are waiting for her dermatology appointment a month away! Thank you all for posting your similar reactions to this disgusting product. For those thinking of using it, STAY AWAY!!! If any of you know of something that helped heal you we would appreciate any advice.
