Jericho Breaks Down the Walls of Mediocre Shows on CBS

Ann Weeks
Tuesday's season premiere of Jericho left fans wanting more, that is new fans wanting more. I admit I am a new fan of the series, and only heard of it after the big peanut revolt of fans after CBS had canceled the show last season.

The show revolves around the theme of what would happen if terrorist (whether it is homeside or overseas terrorist) set off a series of Nuclear bombs off dessiminating the United States, and isolating Jericho from the rest of the world. Brothers Jake and Eric Green are trying to hold off a neighboring town New Bern from attacking their town, and in the process of the war between the two towns, their father is killed.

Eric is bond and determined to destroy the man who killed their father, but as a military unit enters the town, his plans are changed. The show had plenty of action to keep people interested, but as my fiancee would say " There was two many commercials and the time slot needs to be longer. "

This show has something for everyone, passion and action. It relates to most people in the household, though I would not recommend it for children to watch it.
The show contains the "what if" factor that may be a bit confusing for children to watch and understand.

The show is a bit confusing unless you go back and watch the show from the beginning, which thanks to modern day internet all the episodes are available on CBS.com. But if you don't want to watch it on the net, SCIFi is running the original series from the beginning on Mondays. Check your local cable company for information on show dates and times.
