Jericho is a television series that exploded last year on CBS. It is about the small town of Jericho who are lucky enough to not be near a major city, but who are unlucky enough to see hydrogen bombs exploding in the distance. The townsfolk are shocked as it is slowly revealed that most major cities across the U.S. had been nuked by some unknown power with thermonuclear weapons. TV's, radios, and other means of communication about this tragedy are all on the fritz either because of the radiation or because there is no one left to broadcast. Even stranger as they run out of food, supplies are dropped by jet planes from China and Russia, who say they are our friends.

The season continues with no word or help from the Federal Government. In fact, a civilian paramilitary agency closely resembling Halliburton is raiding towns, killing the people and stealing provisions in the name of the Federal Government. The season ended with Jericho barely standing off an attack by these well armed forces trying to steal their food and material.

Here is the kicker. The new season begins on February 21, 8:00PM EST. There are two big questions to be answered. The first is who dropped the bomb? The second is a little clip of Morse code played at the beginning of the last two episodes of the first season. Their website says it asks a question "It begins with 6 and ends with _____?" Anyone can guess at the correct answer. The winner will win a roundtrip ticket to Los Angeles, two nights in a hotel and entry to the filming of the show for two days.

The contest rules are, one guess a day until the second season starts. They provide clues as the opening episode draws nearer. The first clue is "it is not a number". If you want to enter this contest go to whodroppedthebomb.com and register. If you have please share your guesses with the rest of us in the comment section below. The winning answers will be via a drawing of all correct answers.

More helpful information such as Morse code conversions, an audio clip of the Morse code itself, and character and episode background information can be found by clicking around the website. In addition you can see all previous episodes on your computer. Good luck and may the best Associated Content reader win.

The latest clues are 1) It is not a number 2) It is one word made out of two and (new) 3) It has 3 vowels. I guessed Endgame. Good luck. We will know on the 21st of Feb.

This show sounds like something right up my alley (reminds me of The Stand, The Quiet Earth, etc).

I was so hooked on Jericho but have no idea who dropped the bomb. I can't wait for it to start up again.

I think I have it: Al-Qaeda - It translates to The List (two words). They are likely to have dropped the bomb. If you have a better answer, please let me know.
