Jerry "the King" Lawler Will Face the Miz for the WWE Title

In case you missed the recent Monday Night Raw, Jerry Lawler won a seven-man Raw Rumble match. Lawler won the rumble despite being in the ring with some major competition, such as John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, Randy Orton, R. Truth, and John Morrison. This was just not any old rumble, it was a rumble that would determine who would go on and fight The Miz for the WWE title at the elimination chamber. That's right, you read everything correctly, and this means that Jerry Lawler will have a match against the Miz at the Elimination Chamber PPV, and it will be for the WWE championship. The other six participants that were involved in the rumble will be facing off against each other inside the chamber at the PPV. The winner of the Elimination Chamber will become the number one contender for the WWE title.

I think that the WWE champion, the Miz, should fight in the elimination chamber too. For the last few years the heavyweight champion and the WWE champion have entered the elimination chamber, but this year is going to be different when it comes to the WWE champion, and I think it would have been better to see the WWE champion in the chamber too. Anyways, I think that Jerry Lawler will actually defeat the Miz at the PPV, but I highly doubt that Lawler will end up going to Wrestlemania 2011 as the WWE champion.

I think that the Miz will invoke his rematch clause, and regain the title on the Monday Night Raw that follows the Elimination chamber. I then think that the Miz will end up going to Wrestlemania to face either Randy Orton, or John Cena, given that one of those two become the number one contender for the WWE title at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
